TRAINEE LOANS CONSULTANTS
Three types of applicants need to apply for these positions
- If you have experience in the finance industry (you may be “fast-tracked” in your training)
- If you have owned, invested or have a high interest in real estate (and wish to use that interest in making it a career)
- If you have a good sales background and the desire to become successful in this industry (a willingness to be taught new skills and have the chance to demonstrate them)
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Loans Consultant for this Northern Suburb based mortgage broker you will be required to support the following services.
To provide professional residential mortgage broking solutions to all clients needs. To establish, maintain and grow high quality and consistent referral sources in order to convert into residential mortgage sales, whilst at all times acting in the best interest of the client, the Franchise and the organisation in general.
Deliver EXCEPTIONAL customer service
- Networking and prospecting new leads
- Respond to customer needs throughout all stages of the sales cycle
- Provide timely and accurate information to all clients
- Maintain contact with client base on a regular basis
Team Support

- Attend all training and accreditations commensurate and appropriate to the role
Sales Support
- Strive to reach Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly sales targets
- Establish and grow individual and business referral sources for the purpose of generating leads

- Strong lending experience or a desire to learn this industry

Salary /Remuneration
An initial trainee base salary for the first six months with some opportunity to obtain extra bonus income for leads introduced and settled.
Post six months income will move to a retainer plus commission basis with the retainer reducing by the end of 12 months service.

Hours / Availability
(some flexibility is required)
This is a fulltime position– you must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required to meet clients needs and the promotional needs of the business.
Additional Factors
Training – you will undergo an initial 3 months on the job training in all aspects of loan processing. On satisfactory completion you will attend Cert IV training at our Group office in Sydney. Training course will be paid by the employer however you will be required to meet your own travel & accommodation expenses for the duration of the course. These costs may be reimbursed to satisfactory performance over the following 12 months.
Travel - the applicant will have a late model car in good condition
Technology – once you have completed your formal training you will require to have your own lap-top at your own expense (this may be provided on a lease basis if required)
