Leadership and Team Development

Programs and workshops for building teams and developing leadership

Leadership development programs for all stages of management

Our leadership programs are for middle managers, team leaders, section coordinators, line managers and senior staff.

The modular program creates leaders who are competent to manage themselves, lead and collaborate with colleagues, continuously improve work systems and ensure that the needs of clients and customers are met.

They are part of a process to enable organisations to adopt best practice administration systems and maintain leading edge through continual organisation and leadership development.

The flexible program is designed for between 4 and 12 participants and is offered for leaders and managers from one or several organisations. The format for each program is planned according to the specific needs of participants.

Develop effective teams through understanding self and others

This workshop uses the Majors PTI or the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (individual and group) to develop more effective teams through improvement in self understanding and the appreciation of work style of other members.

There are many benefits in this team building workshop, and these include
  • greater understanding of oneself and others
  • improved communication skills
  • ability to understand and reduce conflict
  • knowledge of managerial style (strengths and drawbacks)
  • knowing the contribution in a team
  • identifying the tasks and jobs that give satisfaction

The Workplace Understanding and Team Building workshop is available in various formats (half-day and full day ) to suit the needs of clients and organisations.

Build and apply emotional intelligence to transform your leadership

The research supporting the importance of emotional intelligence dates back many years, and while it was made popular in the late 1990s, arguably it is even more important today that we develop emotionally intelligent leaders to retain and develop the talent that will lead innovation and business growth.

The Emotional Quotient Inventory we use is the first scientifically validated and most widely used Emotional Intelligence assessment in the world. It is based on more than 20 years of research worldwide.

Respondents self-report on their life and workplace performance in key areas of emotional skill that have been proven to contribute to proficiency in complex business activities such as conflict resolution and planning.

By identifying the areas that need improvement, the individual can immediately begin developing those areas. At the same time, areas where a person excels can be leveraged to their full potential to maximise effectiveness in daily tasks.
